Harvesting

Cut by hand at the point the oils are highest, which is rarely the point that is convenient. Small batches, in season, or not at all.

Sourcing

We buy from growers we have met, on land we have walked. Where we cannot trace a plant to its field, we leave it out of the catalogue.

Formulation

Nothing is added to make a blend look fuller. Each formula holds the fewest ingredients that will do the work, at strengths we can stand behind.

Ritual

How a thing is taken matters as much as what is in it. Every blend arrives with the practice it was built around, written plainly.
